So I just got home. I ended up talking to her, introduced myself and spoke about a project the professor had just mentioned (conveniently and less awkward than talking about something personal like her tattoo.)

She seemed quite friendly and more than happy to talk to me, even if it was only for a brief moment. We'll see how things go from here.

Appreciate the thought, but I think things will not pan out on my end. Hopefully you'll have better luck on your end. I actually just remembered: the girl in my office actually has a tattoo as well, but it's on the base of her neck at the back. It's a symbol that I've seen somewhere before, but for the life of me I couldn't remember where.

Yeah I'm not really bothered by it anymore. It was not fun when I realized it, but I just picked myself up, took a long hard drink, and told myself that she's missing out. And you are absolutely correct - there are lots of other cute chicks out here on my end, and good thing about my workplace is that the ratio of men to women are 1:10, so not many competitors for me, and by default, I end up being the most good-looking guy in the office. XD

Well I'll do what I can to turn that scenario into reality. :)

I've never been in a relationship but I have had women take interest in me before, even had one girl tell me I'm gorgeous... Lol. I suppose the only reason I've never been with someone is due to lack of interest of the time. I'm generally a bit of a loner and generally quiet as well. The thing is, this time I am interested so I really want to go about this the right way. God knows at 25 years old I've been single long enough for it to become a nuisance to me.

I don't let society pressure me into thinking I need one but it would be nice to care about someone that way and to have those feelings reciprocated. Don't ask me why this girl. I mean, she's pretty for sure but there's something else. Some sort of quality that I can't really express or understand but I just feel it, I feel drawn to her because of it.

I can only hope that this is my intuition telling me to press on. Well, like another Opponaut told me, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

It looks like some sort of star but I'm not too sure exactly as I've never been able to see all of it. It's usually cover up by her hair and I've only caught a few glimpses here and there when she moves her head to the side while she writes.
